Default Replacing timing belt. Assitance requested!

Hopefully someone can clue me in how to get the camshaft position sensors off on a 97 A8 quattro. They are the six point T27 bolts and were pretty trashed when I started. Needless to say they'll be replaced. I was able to get the drivers side off using a T30 bit with a 1/4 inch wrench on it. Couldn't keep the rachet on with enough pressure to turn it. I have one bolt on the passenger side off, the other bolt is being a pain though and its kinda tight so its tough to tap the bit on for more bite. There has got to be a better way so I hope someone can help. Thanks.
