Default Response from H-Sport on the Sway Bar Project

Paul,
H-Sport is working on the A8 bars right now. I can not give you a
completion date but I am including Aaron Ogawa in this email. Aaron is our
lead engineer and is attending to that project. Please understand that
Aaron simply does not have the time to maintain constant communication with
you but he will give you progress reports periodically as R&D completes each
phase. A8 owners will be able to purchase an effective H-Sport sway bar set
in the future. Thank you for your patience Paul. H-Sport will return your
sway bar shortly to the Forest Park address.

Default Over the weekend i was debating on making one out of a old titanium lacrosse stick.

but my metal-working skills are as weak as my ability to make a sway bar.

Default 2nd to that question ...

I assume H-sport knows that a 20mm bar (from the S8) is already available. And that an S8 also obviously needs something stiffer than 20mm.

Default I gave them all your existing sway bar rate info

That you have posted before with assumptions on the stock A8, 17.4 and 20 mm bars....told him that we were looking for something about 1.3-1.7 times as stiff as the A8 20mm bar as I recall.

And they are making front bars too.

The A6 bars have different settings....firm and more firm!

Default Is that a test bar? Or the bar I sent them?

I'm hoping it's a test bar.

Default That is your bar

I had sent about 4 emails since December and a few phone calls and no response, so I told him in my email that if they were not going to make bars for the A8, please return the rear bar (yours) to me so we could look elsewhere.

But finally got a response! Told him to keep it as long as they want.
