Have given your idea some thought myself in terms of monitoring
your car while left in a parking lot. . wouldn't we all love to nail the idiot that opens their door into your car and then drives off?

I have thought the same. Is the race on? Anyone know who has the specs?
It would also be nice to get a couple of those crazies that run red lights off the road. I witnessed one yesterday and I thought the guy in front of me was going to be killed. Lucky for him the other driver (that ran the light) performed a very harsh swerve to avoid him. Both cars were going about 30-40 and he would have been broad sided. The guy in front of me did not seem him and when I saw him it was too late to beep..., but that have taken his eye back to me and it could have been worse.
Hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.

Atlanta City Cops got me two weeks ago....
on way to Best Buy for XM installation and I just finally got the cost of ticket ( kept getting disconnected from the wonderful automated court thing )...are you ready.....166 "expletive dollars". Transition speed zone with 45 MPH zone about 3 blocks from where I was ticketed. As posted before the XM got expensive with the battery replacment issue but I was expecting about an $85 speeding ticket not $166. What a RIP off!

I was stopped a few years back in the Corvette on the Pa. Tpk
and the cop actually asked why I didnt have a radar detector! I told him that I didnt believe in them(yea, right!) and he let me go. I guess you could use that story as long as you dont get stopped twice by the same cop!
