except perhaps in a nightmare.

I know you were kidding, but a rear wing wouldn't have helped anyway. Both Paul and I had our rear tires break loose in relatively low speed corners. My incident was in Turn 5, the lowest speed corner at Road America, probably ~45 mph. Paul's probably at ~70 mph in his Turn 6 pic, which is 3rd gear in the S8. Wings don't start providing much meaningful downforce until speeds are above 100 mph. I'm guessing that the hard acceleration from the three slowest Road America corners overcooked the rear tires on both of our cars.

Or -- this is my car just past the T6 apex, and ...
