AC Volts will tell you if you have a strong enough signal and Hz will tell you if it's plausible.
Is that pic of the gap in the reluctor to signal the crank angle? If you rotate the crank do you see the reluctor teeth? Sensor clearance should be something like 0.8mm but obviously to the teeth and not the gap between the teeth.
