I just found out on the s-cars websight that the S8 is not coming to the U.S. until the begining of 2001 and it was confirmend by Audi USA. Alo there is speculation that it is going to come as a long wheel base version, does anyone have any input.

No long wheel base for the S8, but it will probably be a 2002 model year (m)
and that means that the cars are not going to leave the ports (release date) before Jan 2nd. 2002 by law regulations.
