Hoes anyone know the exact sizes of all the speakers in the Euro 2001 S8? From what I can make out it has front mids and tweeters in the doors, rear doors have mids and space for tweeters but no tweeters. The parcel shelf has two 6 inch subs? If anyone know the exact diameters of all speakers and the depth behind as well as the ohms it would be really useful, I've looked everywhere on the net and there is nothing obvious related to this, thanks in advance

I've never found specs for speaker size or impedance for the Bose system. Can just tell you what little the Bentley manual has on it.
8 speakers total, 2 woofers front doors, 2 woofers hat shelf (called "active bass speakers"), 4 mid range/tweeter combos all 4 doors...so according to that, 4 tweeters.

If you have the Symphony radio...click on the link for "Programming Guide" in the list of features. Cool stuff that Audi doesn't put in their radio manual, and most owners are unaware of. One of the best "secret" features I found, is the separate 4 band equalizer for front and rear speakers (independent of the existing 3 band controls on the head)...with a little experimenting, you can completely change (and improve) the sound/balance of the system.

I would assume they are the same, mine has the Satnav/tv unit, no tweeters in the rear or they're not working(doubtful both sides have died at the same time!)
