hi to everyone.
looking for some advice,
in a nutshell i havent run my car for about 2 weeks, came to start it and nothing,,,,just clicks,
si i kinked p my charger booster pack and its now showing 100% charged, reconnected the leads jumped in drivers seat and nowt,,,,turn the key nothing, no lights no clock illuminating no nothing,
i then noticed that the temp gauge was t 12 oclock. the revs were all the way round to 7000rpm fuel gauge is on max and the speedo it at 30mph and the needle is quivering at this position.
the engine hasnt fired up there are no interior lights and the central locking etc does not function so there is no power to anything,
ive disconnected the battery and the fiedles on the dials remain in the above dddddesscribed positions....very weird.
any one got any tips clues ideas or experience?
appreciate any help
Garry

sorrymy typing has come out rubbish... Im blaming the keyboard....honest.
Ive disconnected and reconnected the battery and tttthe dash gauge needles still remain at the positions described.
should i remove any fuses?
also its possible but Im not 10% sure if the car has more than minimal fuel in it.
il add some in and see if this makes a difference. Doubtful I know.

Try disconnecting the instrument cluster for 30 seconds and reconnecting. I had some similar symptoms and that remedied my issue. See link below for procedure.

Good luck.
