The new S-car logo will supposedly appear on cars built in the second half of '01. (Looks like Audi is set for an '01.5 model run.) Once the S4 Avants start hitting our shores, S4 sedans should be showing up with the new badge as well.
As for parking sensors, I'm sure the S4 doesn't have them because it's not an option on A4s. Since the S4 is assembled on the same line as the A4, the fewer equipment variations there are, the easier it is to produce the cars.
