S8- SIlverstar headlights, foglights, etc

Has anyone switched out their highbeams, fogs, and turn signal lights for Silverstars on an S8? If so, were they a marked improvement?

Lighting is no different, but they do have an updated look.

i have been looking to do that as well...

What are the proper bulbs to use for the 3 lights? H1 H3 H7? which ones are which

I vote for PIAA lifetime warrenty, and brighter

I switched out the fogs for yellows on the A8.

But on a more pertinant note on my old jeep I upgraded all the lights to PIAA and it made a big difference. I am not so sure that you will notice a big difference with just the highe beams but ....

I did lows and turn signals on my 97 and am pleased with both. Might do highs soon but ...

I don't use high beams that much in town. I did the low beams over three years ago now and they are both shining strong. The silverstars were significantly less expensive than the piaa lights, and I have never tried the piaas, so I don't know how they do in a side by side comparison. Turn signals seem to be holding up well after two years; look good when off and still shine amber when lit. (nice and legal)
