They put it in the rear bumper as that is where Audi install the Mobile antenna and it means that you do not have to see any sort of external antenna for the Sat Nav unlike the somewhat ugly factory version which is a brushed steel thing and sits on the boot lid. In terms of where everything is mounted in the car I have got the GPS antenna and re-radiating antenna tucked in the far right hand corner of the parcel shelf. Will post some pics if I get round to it. They are pretty much out of sight
