Default What day was that ? ...

I "retired" last year, and I'm having a hard time keeping track of what day it is :-)

Default Solenoids

I had the same 17125 fault code and went through the troubleshooting procedure. The N218 as well as the other solenoid draws (elec. loads) were fine, but I replaced N218 anyway. It didn't help. Check the solenoids using VAG-Com and the load values given in Bentley. There is also a valve troubleshooting procedure to check all of them. If they are fine, it is probably the dreaded torque converter slippage that we have been experiencing. I am just waiting to get mine into the shop to have it replaced.
