seat memory, how it works? I dont get it??

though my wife is always unlocking the car with her fob for me to drive and then i have to re-press button #1, 'cause she won't drive the a8

1). Make sure memory is on. (The red button that sticks up. Down is "on" )
2). Set seat, steering wheel and mirrors to your liking.
3). Press and hold memory number and memory set button until you hear a small click.
4). Move seat, steering wheel, and mirrors to a different setting and press and hold memory number until it is where you originally programmed it.
When you use the "1" spot, everything adjusts to this setting when you unlock the door with your key fob and open the door.

old memory button down + number on what u want, get a click and it's saved.
