Seatbelt Warning - Dashboard removal?

I have a problem with the seatbelt warning light not working. I have used VAG COM to look at the Airbag module and when I insert the belt into the clip it registers this as being belt in. I'm therefore confident that the problem is around the dash light rather than electrical (otherwise i wouldn't see the status of the belt buckle change when i insert the clasp).
What I want to know is how, if at all, I can remove the dash to replace the seatbelt bulb?
I find the VAG COM very good. I didn't realise for example that the car can detect people in either of the rear seats!!! I presume its for airbag deployment..... very clever i say.
Any help please?
cheers

The entire instrument cluster comes out without a great deal of difficulty. I'm not sure how difficult it is to get to the warning lights from there. Look at the Bentley.

...but on reflection from what I've written, would you agree that it looks like a bulb problem/connection problem in the dash?

the instrument cluster control unit (which is what VAG talks to) and the bulb in the cluster. By far the most likely culprit is the bulb in the cluster.
