We got our car back from the bodyshop yesterday and it seems that when I start the car up and turn on the headlights, the Xenons doesn't move up and down at initial startup (which it used to do all the time), so I'm just wondering if other 01+ owners' Xenon will auto adjust up and down when it's started up at night?

the lights would have stored a code.

you'll need a dealer or vag-com.

The self-leveling error message came up when I pick up the car, told the body shop guys and they brought the car over to the service area to reset the code, the error went away, so the self-leveling feature went away with the reset?

reset clears the codes, adaption tells the controller of the initial light setup. the proceudre is on this site - search under hid. but you will need vag-com to do it yourself.
