Default Service reminder.... Can I reset with Vagcom?¿
Guys,
I do my oil changes at home, but the reminder keeps popping up at normal service intervals. I'm getting sick of taking it to the dealer just to clear the code. Do any of you know of a "button press combo" or the register to clear in the instrument cluster. Thx. Go quattro.

Default On my A6 I can re-set the "service" reminder by using the instrument
cluster "buttons"...I found it in the manual.

Unfortunately, this trick doesn't work on the A8. You MUST use a VAG tool to reset these.
