Which shafts shall be balanced? When shall they be balanced? Is it frequent issue?....procedure?

Re: I'm no expert, but...
Start with the longest, which is probably the main front-back shaft. I don't know what country you are in but here in the US we have "speed shops" which can hook you up with a driveshaft shop where they can check this out. Before you invest in that, make sure the couplers are in good shape. Of course the vibration might be something else.

well ... they are suppose to be balanced at the factory or ....
whoever rebuilds them. Unless there was some damage to them (ei. accident) or a bad rebuild, there should be no reason the "re-balance" them. Have you replaced any of the half-shafts lately? Also could be the driveshaft bearing.
Hope you figure it out!

trying first to find where they can do dynamic wheel balancing using new methods like SmartWeight...
I live in the Netherlands..... Is it correct that to test the drive shafts you have to remove them? Is there any way to test them without removing them?

try this link...
I don't recommend doing the jackstand test they describe with AWD. Very dangerous. Only do this with the car on a large hydraulic lift.

http://www.driveshaftshop.com/Vibration.ivnu</a
