Default skiracer1313 - Seems like your apple in the car over night trick did it

I cut an apple in half, put it on the floor, half in the front, half in the back, closed all the windows and sunroof, and this morning it didn't smell like smoke.

I threw them out....we'll see how it smells this afternoon, it's in the garage with everything closed up.....plus I had it washed this morning and all the interior windows are now cleaned.

Default If that didn't work

Put some ammonia in a shallow bowl overnight. More potent than an apple.

Default 'Twas actually Jim "clear corner" 03-S8 that suggested the apple but whatever...

they do work great and tend to absorb rather than mask the offensive odor. I periodically burn incense in the car with everything rolled up. I like it, others may not.

Default CONGRATS! Gainfully employed once again, and likely double-dipping with some overlap. Nice. Think..

...you'll burn the pink fuzzy robe and bunny slippers?

Can we no longer call you BSB? Whattaworld...

Glad to hear it worked PaulW, and I wish I could take credit for the idea. Thank Jim03_S8
