Would like to start tracking down this issue. The miss is also at idle, but I notice it mostly at @1200rpm's (probably because this coincides with traveling @ 45 mph--the speed limit on most roads around my house.) Is there a more obvious place to look when there is a problem at a specific rpm? The plugs were just changed with no improvement. The dealer says no fault codes generated and therefore no problem. I've thougt about buying a single fuel injector and trying it on each cylinder, one at a time?

What do you feel that you think it is "missing"? It would seem odd that at only a certain RPM that it misses. You could pull the fuel rail, disconnect 7 of the 8 injectors and turn the engine over for 5 seconds while holding the "active" injector in a cup. You should receive the same amount of gas out of each of the injectors. If you have a weak injector then there is your culprit! Good Luck.
REMEMBER-If you pull your fuel rail, don't forget to change the o-rings.
