Hi everyone
Another question: The A8 is leaking a little oil. From where it drips on the ground, it appears to be coming from the very right front corner of the car. From underneath, the whole oil pan looks a little wet. There are a couple of drips of oil on the alternator. What are the usual suspects for a 4.2 leaking oil? Car has 93k on it.

Had the car in for tranny service yesterday (indie Euro specialist). Trans fluid & filter change was about $500. Tranny is already programmed to European shift map. Had the mechanic examine the leak; he said the oil pressure sending unit and possibly the right front corner of the headgasket.

Car is still leaking. Replaced the oil sending unit last year and that didn't cure anything. I know the passenger side valve cover is leaking a little, because once in a while you'll smell / see a little smoke coming off the exhaust manifold on that side. That fix I'll do this summer, but if the head gasket is leaking a bit; it'll have to stay leaking.
