So apparently the current D3 was designed...
...WAYYYY back in 1998. LOL and the first model was rolled out in 2000. HMMM makes my car feel like an ancient pre historic big ole cry baby.

Yes I definitely know something you do not...
...i just learned this rtoday from an Audi fanatic. I will try and get you guys a link soon. I know its insane how long this car was on the drawing board. I mean the D2 came out in 1994!!!! HOLY COW. thats 13 years ago man! HOLY WOW!!!!

WRONG.

The clay model finalized and the designed approved in 2000 does not mean it was made in 2000
They were released to Europe in late 02 as I recall and mid 03 to the U.S.
