So it appears it's a wiring problem or F125 switch problem

I give up
Tested the F125 switch, all tested good, tested the incoming power, all was good, tested the ground, all was good.
Get these weird dash readings......I'll try and hook up with Gabor tomorrow afternoon, he has a spare F125 switch we could try.

Coincidence or did the detailer get water in the engine compartment?
A friend with a D3 had it detailed and several coil packs were ruined by water in the engine compartment. That was some aggressive cleaning!
I'm no Colombo but something is fishy (in a wet way) here!
Do you have access to a dehumidifier?

Unless the detailer did what pkrasusky suggested, your car should get back to normal. But again for tree fifdy you could get one of these, and pass the savings to Gabor

I'm sure you thought of this but you can disconnect the cable and move the trans
gear selctor through the gears under the car. The lights will correspond to the gear it's in so you'll know whether the cable is at fault or not.
You guys could so that on a lift in a couple of minutes.
