So lately my car sounds like its not running on all 8 cylinders...HELP

Default So lately my car sounds like its not running on all 8 cylinders...HELP
It has a "chugachugachugachuga" sound on idle yet I dont have ANY CEL codes at all. Plugs are NGK Iridiums from about 20K ago, I also have 2 new POSs. What could this be? It almost sounds like a diesel truck at idle. Any thoughts on how I could trouble shoot this?

Default Make sure the timing belt is tensioned correctly
If your tensioner broke, you could be listening to valves slapping pistons.

my belt was done a lil over 1yr ago...how would I be able to check this?

Default You can remove one side of the cover....but it's not easy
And I don't know what you'll see. But if it sounds like a diesel, I wouldn't drive it until I fixed it.

Check your plugs. Were they torqued correctly? Check the FAQ so you can see what happened to me.
