I replaced the oil in the A8 for the first time yesterday. Thanks to audipages.com how to pages, I prepared for the oil splash with the whole Sunday papers spread out the whole floor and still not enough.
I have never seen oil surges out like that in all my life of car maintenance, the whole 7 quart in less than 2 minutes.
Oil filter from Mahn came with all washers and seal. The procedure from audipages was perfect.
Changed the air filter from Bosch, fits OK, syntec castrol 8 quarts right on the dot.
The car purs as usual after the 7500 miles fluid replacement. No oil leak under the car, clean and dry, good sign. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes was just the belly pan cover.
Thanks Paul (audipages.com)
Happy 4th of July all,

But in order to get the belly pan really back in place correctly, pour all the oil back into bottles and clean everything up, I would by lying if I said it took less than an hour....1.5 is more realistic.
I don't usually do it myself, but feel good when I do, normally before a track event so I can get most every fastner back on the belly pan.
