Solemn note, don't always trust ebay....
My rns-e has crackpot soldering that has most likely failed. Nothing impossible to fix but a definite nuisance for something that cost about a grand.

ebay changed...
They turned themselves into a giant classified site and moved away from their core which was auctions. Now craigs list is eating them up. It used to be a great place for great items at great prices but now I can usually find the same item locally cheaper. I did buy my 2000 A8 SWB, a real gem, on ebay a few years ago.
The fee's are too high, listing is complicated and it drives away honest people. Ebay got too big and they cant enforce shilling rules. 50% of the itmes on Ebay are buy it now or for sale at a fixed price. What happened to Auctions?
I recently needed to buy double stroller, so I checked on ebay and there were douzens for sale for 399.00 + shipping cluttering up the auction experience. That's the same exact price as a new one at my local store which has a good return policy.

Update: The seller happens to be a kind fellow
The listing only offered a 10 day warranty but the seller is willing to either repair of replace the unit at no cost to me. I guess I got lucky and bought from one of the few trustworthy sellers. He uses the name besgu32 if anyone is looking at rns-e's.

Hey PaulW, where can I get the can based mfsw module?
I have contacted shokan several times and they are too lazy to check for the part. I also contacted nationwide auto recyclers several times and have never received a reply.
