Default As some of you know I have had a lift in the garage for some time, but I have a small problem......

The lift is just a tiny bit tall for a lowered A8/S8 to park right on top of it.
Which is why I have been using the 2 x 6's. Well, I got tired of parking on top of them every day.

I think I have solved the problem, I'll find out in a few days after the cement is cured.

Bob, you are next!

I guess I'm not moving anytime soon. I'll post some more pictures with the lift in use in a week or two.

Cheers!

Default OMG, great minds think alike!! I was just talking about doing the same thing last week.

Even with the normal suspension, I need the 2x6's too and I'm getting sick of tripping over them.

Now I'm really motivated. How long did it take you? My only snag is that I already have it (partially) over about a 10" deep pit so I would have to do less digging but more filling.

What if something went wrong with it? How would you get it out of the pit, and how are you getting it in?

One thing I did do was unbolt the motor assembly from the tow handle and mounted it on the wall.

Instigator - a different kind of JNR but definitely JNR. Very nice indeed.

Default Remember John Gacy

This looks like a crime scene-- maybe a Columbo episode in the making?

Default Let us know ASAP how that works.

I may have to crank that into my current garage project.

I just put all this in.

<img src="http://images22.fotki.com/v752/photos/7/77755/4434960/GarageProject1-vi.jpg">

All the drawers, doors, and pulls, and the countertop, are now on, and I'm started to load them, so I can get rid of the metal shelves. Wainscot and crown molding throughout to follow, with an epoxy floor.
