Is this a speaker?

On the A6, there is a tweeter in the upper half of the door and a midrange in the lower half. On the A8, the set-up is the same on the front doors with the devoted tweeter and the midrange bose.
In the rear doors, is this setup the same. Listening to the radio, I cannot hear a peep coming out of where I thought there should be speakers. There is a honeycomb looking grill right next to the door handle. Does anyone know if this is a speaker that should be operational. If you are not certain, could you go outside and take a listen. I am going to the dealer tomorrow and would like to know for certain if this is a problem. As always, thank you!

My 95 s6 has similar cool looking grille's. Yet amazingly, nothing behind them.
This "looks like a cool tweeter" feature may have been such a huge success that it may well have been continued.
Like grandma said, "speakers should be seen and not heard."

I know that there is a tweeter in the front door and the rears have this very same looking grill in a bit of a different place. Even in the picture it looks like there *should* be a speaker there. Unfortunatley the Audi Concert manual mentions nothing about speaker placement so I am just wondering if anyone with an A8 can put their ear up to the rear dorrs and confirm or deny this speaker debacle.

I just went out and listened (99, Concert radio), and there's not a speaker there. Fade 100% back, Treble up, Bass down, and no sound.
That plus Fly's comment pretty well seals it:
Is this a speaker? No.
