Those are the bi-xenon lights that were standard on the 6.0 L A8 in Europe. I got a pair and put them in my US 2000 A8L. They really help the D2 keep a contemporary look I think. You bav get them from Bosch or a German Audi dlr (I can supply a phone #. They are about $2400 a set.

They will be different than the prefacelift 97 A8 headlights...I guess you probably know that you
will be cutting the fenders. Let me know how difficult it is. I will be performing a similar mod when I get around to it this summer.

I'm redoing a house in a matter of two months, you won't be seeing me here often in the near future.
You can find them on ebay, and when you figure out how to retrofit them to your car tell me....I actually have a facelift US spec light bucket that I was going to use to mock up to see if it would fit, been sitting in my garage for over a year now.....

2400 A SET?? outrageos.. so not avail in US? Will they line up with the hood/grille? fender issue?
Sorry, I know A LOT about A4/S4 and previous models... Excited for the A8 though...
