still no car

Re: still no car
In Ohio it's 30 days out of service in the first 12 months and it's officially a lemon. I suggest you call your service department and tell them you want to speak to Uno Kull. He's the Ohio Audi Ubermeister.
First thing to do is- if the car is fixed to your satisfaction, have him have Audi authorize payment for your time out of service. Next, Given your low miles, have him extend your tranny's warantee 5yrs/110k sounds good. If he balks at any of this, call an attorney. Your case is a slam dunk for the lemon law. You'll get either a new A8, as I did, or cash back to find something else. Keep us posted.
My VIN was 1971, Northern Blue/ Blue interior

Get rid of your lemon and pronto!
Run as fast and as far as you can. Give it back to AoA, take the money, consider yourself lucky and buy a boring, reliable, non-cutting-edge, uncharismatic Japanese car so you can go back to having a real life.
You are, by any standard, entitled to a full buyback from AoA. People like myself and several others on this site were given buyback offers for issues that, while troubling hardly approach your troubles.
Resist, at all costs, the temptation to roll the dice again. Because if you do,there will be little sympathy or likelihood of serious help when the new A8L(emon) starts giving you trouble.

lemon law it and/or trade it even (no taxes, reg etc) for an RS6.
Newer cars should be better, though you're still in the first year.
If you take a trade on a 'replacement', order the car, demand a loaner until it arrives. That way you are getting the most 'up to date' production as possible, as opposed to winding up with another early build unit.
But by all means, you shouldn't have to accept this situation as it is.
