Default Stock S8 Boge shocks versus Sport Bilstein Shocks

As mentioned below, shox.com has Bilstein sports in stock for $420, without any more info, do you think they would work on a S8 suspension well?

I have no idea, but they would have to work so much better than the worn ones in my garage right now.

Default I believe they will revalve them to your specs-

for free if you tell them what you want.
I have bilstein/eibachs on the s6 and rate the combo very good to excellent right out of the box.

Default Wow! Check out the price of OEM struts....

....called my favorite local dealer where I get good parts pricing:

Fronts: $289 each
Rears: $268 each

Total: $1114!

Think we'll go with the sport Bilstein's, I bet they'll work nicely with the S8 springs.

Interestingly enough, I called with the part number off the struts which came from Europe and they couldn't cross reference them.

The above prices are for 01 S8 components.

Default These are for "subtitled's" 99

And after looking at his shocks and my old ones, I bet the struts on my H&R's are worn out, heck, they have about 55K on them and a bunch of track time!

:-)

Yes, be sure and leave OFF the bump stops otherwise that back end will bouncing off them
