Strange "clicking" sound from dash of 2000 S8

it's probably the recirc flap motor v113 or v68, v102
Best thing to do is use vag to perform a basic setting this will run all the hvac motors from one stop to the other stop. You'll hear all the motors/flaps engaging. Then check for fault code. You just may have had an out of aligned motor/flap. viola and wallah! Now play nice.

OK. Now I feel totally loved.
Thanks for all the feedback. The systems has worked, I hopefully have a solution and will do more homework next time. I promise.
WRT the car. It is a Black, 2000 S8, with 50,000 km's on the clock, fully optioned except for remote tyre pressure and after run heaters I think.
I have a couple of small things only to do:
Replace the combo antenna mast (radio and GSM phone) and think about a simple iPod setup.
Also find the best tyre for the car (245x40x18). Probably go with Yokohama V550 Decibel but still working on that one.
