Default On a 2000 A6, yes

Probably the same design. Not particularly hard to do.

First thing maybe to try--silicone lubricant to confirm that is really your problem. Make sure the tracks are clean too, including the sliding shade. Also check the pop up wind deflector--functions well, no squeaks, etc.

Check panel alignment in closed position per Bentley--very slightly dipped at front )like 1 mm) and similarly very slightly raised at the rear.

Default thanks, I'm gonna get a new one if it's not too expensive. BTW, thanks for the trans adaption you

sent a while ago. I have been doing it every 400-500 miles and it works. Wish I could make it permanent.

I'll post some more details next week with credit to you...

Bob
