My dad has an S8 and I want to know if any company produces a supercharger for the S8. Im looking for another 100HP but I also need to know if the tranny can support that. Anyone know what the torque limit on an S8 tranny is

.
MTM does offer a supercharger (see link).
Others here in the forum are also considering supercharging the A8 or A8, and I'll let them comment.

MTM S8 supercharger

Per Randy's post, M-T-M offers a supercharger kit. I gave up on the idea of purchasing a kit from them, but if you can afford an S8 you can probably afford a kit from M-T-M and should pursue contacting them.
The idea of an A8/S8 supercharger kit spells expensive in several ways. There is limited production of A8 and S8's and low interest in "highly" modifying them, so tooling costs for power adders is high.
Engineering cost is also high, IMHO the radiator hoses are basically on the "wrong side" to easily fit a supercharger. If you note the link Randy provides to M-T-M, the air intake duct on their system is crossing over the top of the motor. There is more room on the passenger side, and that is where the airbox is to begin with, but that is also where the radiator hoses are and I haven't figured out a way to keep the hoses clear of belts. Clever bracket design or refitting of accessories is required, and once again IMHO, slave pulleys.
The result is that I am going to engineer my own. I figure I can fab brackets and grenade one or two used A8 motors before I get it right and still be under the cost of an M-T-M kit.
Another item to consider is that the A8 with its MAF system is sensitive to triggering the check engine light (probably needs to be buffered), there have been problems with flashing codes when simply creating homemade cold air induction systems.
