laptop HD failed so I wasnt able to deactivate. I call, they say, "no problem, we'll send you an email and when you reply we will send out your replacement serial numbers." Three emails and 2 weeks later still nothing. Its a bummer bc I need to fix some stuff.

.....the 3.0 license is sooo much better. I really like having it on two computers, and you can deactivate it on line.
Forget that, the new format is much better also, it just took a little getting use to. It helps that I now have a wide screen on my laptop and desktop.

Try the same serial number that you have with a C or D at the end. This is what they did with mine. But in my case I was able to get live help on the spot over the phone. May be you should keep calling, you may be able to get thru to a "nice" rep.
