Default Mr. Kristiansen

I am a BW convert, I owned a 1998 740i, never had any problems except a few minor transmition issues that were finally resolved....however approximately six weeks ago I sold my 740i and purchased an A8 4.2. I was a little dismayed and truly disappointed byt he design of the next generation A8. Regardless, I think the current A8 is stunning! And yes I find the 745i horrid as well.

Default yeah, the current was nice but way outdated, couldn't compare the S-Class or old 7 Series, I like

new 7 Series by the way. However the old A8, was ok, but it still was lame compared to the competition, and it's continued to be lame.

Default Don't worry, Ultradub

Even though I may disagree with your opinion, I support it 100%. Ignore those people who don't support your opinion and come up with stupid comments about it. Yes, this also applies to Acadia, Xialater and others as well. But please overlook my stupid comments and non support from two weeks ago? TIA.

Default Thank You Sir 2Tonic

Yes I suppose it will be alright in the end. I actually visited my local Audi Dealer, the current A8 is now available by special order only and the A8L is still available in limited numbers, as they gear up for the production of the current A8. Tell you what, change that steering wheel and I may forgive the design short falls. Considering one rarely sees themselves driving, yet the bloody steering is right in front of you! And thank you Mr. Tonic to being open enough and mature enough to respect others and their opinions!

Lame? Couldn't compare with *old* 7-series? Try to be just a bit serious, will you?

Default In Fairness to the 7 series

I still prefer the suspension in my 7 series, however in almost every other aspect I prefer my A8. I am however weary of the horror stories I have heard with maitenance for the A8 and the allocation of parts.

Sorry I brought it up, Mr.K. ;^) Still, despite the bashers, the "beautiful" votes are up!
