Default suspension component thunk

alright so I have this thunking when I hitting bumbs, or braking. I checked the springs and they appear to be in one piece, what shall I do?

Default Check your control arms. Common issue.

One other thing would be a loose strut mount I would think.

Default Good question.

I just ran outside and took a look, and lo & behold one cannot see the big nut as it is obscured by the chassis. :-( So much for it being easy like the A6.

and about the control arms, i hate to say this, but im a 16 year old noob and I have no idea how to tell if one is bad...unless its snapped in half...bushings?

Default Jack it up,

remove wheel (of course), grab onto the control arm and check for movement. If it's loose, eees bahd.
