Unlike here in the US, there seems to be A8 "Sport" model in Europe. What are the differences between the "regular" US A8 model and the Euro A8 "sport" model?

I'm specifically interested in the differences in the suspension. Is this "sport" mode's suspension lower? much stiffer? ride quality?

Euro "Sport" has S8 suspension (plus S8 seats, steering wheel, 18" wheels and some other goodies)

Hopefully, the sport package that is currently available on the D3 A8 in Europe will also be available on the D3 A8L 4.2 in North America when it comes out in July, 2003. I also hope the D3 A8 4.2 and D3 A8L 6.0 will be available with the sport package in North America when they all come out in July, 2004 along with the D3 S8.

it is slightly lower (I think it was like 30-40mm), you can actually purchase the european suspension at one website but the name is escaping me right now.
