Default Here is some info on the subject

You might as well change out the springs too.

Earlier thread

Default Get Eibachs + Bilsteins.

I wouldn't go H&R. I'm very unimpressed, they sagged over time, and I've replaced the fronts with E+Bs, and will do the rears soon.

Default has anyone found a better deal for the E+B combo then shox.com?

Shox.com has the Eibach springs for $280 and the Bilsteins for $439. I saw the Eibachs for the A8 on Ebay for $258 for the set (NIB btw!) anyone else find a better deal for this setup. im still saving (and trying to convince the wife....)

http://www.shox.com</a

shox still seems cheaper. Free shipping and they are giving 5% off right now!

Default Tell them you are with a race team/business and you'll get an even better price

When I purchased Konis for my Volvo from Shox.com, the salesperson told me to make up a business name to order under and I got an additional discount. I just had them shipped to (insert last name here) Motorsports C/O me at my home address and that was all it took. It worked for the Konis, so it can't hurt to try with the Bilsteins.

Default if you dont want to lower much, try to find an S8 Suspension. same basic height just a little...

sportier i would presume. But honestly, from what ive read here the Eibach/Bilstein combo is the best way to go. It doesnt hurt ride quality and it gets rid of the HORRIBLE front wheel gap. UGH...thats the only thing i hate about the D2...that and the SH*TTY TRANSMISSION!
