Hey fellas...I'm from over on the B6 A4 forum, but I thought you might like to hear this....
Just another rainy Saturday night, leaving Blockbuster, and I'm walking to my A4 with my fiance. We hop in the car and she says "Honey, what Audi is that?" I turn around and notice 4 identical cars that look like no Audi I have seen. I run over and what do I see?
4 brand new Silver US spec 2004 A8L's, all with Michigan manufacturers plates. All I can say is that the cars were stunning, absolutely gorgous! As we are drooling over the cars, one of the drivers starts to approach. I noticed his Audi hat, and he introduces himself, really nice guy. I say "what the hell are you guys doing up here?"
I live in Danbury, CT by the way. He tells me that they work for Audi of America and that these are the first production US spec A8L's in the country. 20 of them started out in a line from Houston, all silver production A8L 4.2's, completely loaded. He said they are doing final testing and evaluation before they arrive in June. They have to do 2000 miles and evaluate every aspect of the cars. He said they have been on the road since 7:00 am. Guys, these cars were so beautiful. They were NOT typical test mules. These were genuine production US Spec cars. Silver with I think grey interior. The LED taillights were awesome! The 4.2 sounded great, and the interior looked gorgous! Sorry if I'm rambling, but this was just too cool!
I'll try and answer any questions if you guys have any...

It's spring in Atlanta, and the dogwoods and cherry trees are out, and the azaleas will be in the next couple of days.
And all the pollen would be a great test of the cabin filter system. Yeah, that's the ticket, they need to come down here next to test the cabin filter system. ;-)
