Switchblade Keys

Are the switchblade keys interchangeable? I found one from a 2003 A4 will that work on my 1997 A8?

yes, but you have to get a new key cut at the audi dealer. It is about $60 for the key if you already have the fob. Just follow the programming instructions in your manual or look them up on here.
