Symptoms: Car runs for about 30 to 45 min. then dies and will not start, after inst. new fuel pump.

I performed a test. I put in two gallons of fuel. It started and ran like a charm...
I drove to the gas station and filled with an additional 5.4. A total of about 8 gallons was added.
I think that we can deduce that one of the pick up lines is messed up. Am I right in this assumption?

I have Exactly the same issue that you have. I just bought the car, and do not know if pump was replaced recently. I do not have the specail tool to get the pump out, or I would have a peak in there to see if the pickup tube fell off on my pump. SOOOOO...Please fix yours and let me know how you did! lol. But seriously, I would love to know what the fix for yours is. If I need to get a tool after that I will.
