Gents,
My plan was to follow this guide:
<a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec133.shtml" target="_blank">AudiWorld Tech Articles</a>
which would make it easy for me to connect the BT module instead of the Telematics module. My Telematics module is easily accessible in the trunk.
I went on to do it today, but here is what I found:
<img src="http://www.kjella.net/P1000489.JPG" />
<img src="http://www.kjella.net/P1000494.JPG" />
<img src="http://www.kjella.net/P1000500.JPG" />
<img src="http://www.kjella.net/P1000492.JPG" />
So my Telematics module is totaly different from the one in the guide, with different connectors.
How do I find out which pins/wires to use for the BT module? Could the color coding on the wires be the same as on the harness for the BT module?
<img src="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/elec133_Conversion.jpg" />
Thanks for any advice!

than my install. Possibly a difference in North America vs Europe. However my telematics unit did not have the Nokia name on it. Is it possible you have the telephone unit?
My telematics (Onstar) unit was located in the trunk on the drivers side under the hatshelf.
Here are some images from my install

Ok I obviously am doing something wrong to post these photos, just go and have a look in my picture poster

Mine was located same place as yours.
I do have the Nokia phone in the armrest, it's a part of the Telematics II system. Guess this system is very different from the US Onstar one.
Mine has it's own SIM card and a battery backup as well.

Got an answer saying this system is not a part of the CAN bus. Which makes this location for the BT module hopeless, as I need to connect the CAN signals to it. Better place it somewhere close to the RNS-E, shouldn't be a big issue.

To get to the factory mic, etc. and then you could always run 2 wires to the trunk from the CAN bus off the radio or instrument cluster.
