Coming from the driver side steering at very slow speeds and only when the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left. I think it's the tierod but the noise seems to only appear above 50 degrees.
Does this make sense?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe on Saturday you could come by and we could do your instrument cluster, I have to change my oil and do final preps for Grattan the next weekend.

Seems like several forum members (myself included) have had contol arm issues this spring with our pre-facelift D2s.
My 99 is at the dealer as I type this getting the left side control arm replaced. I'm sure the right side can't be far behind, but since it's not groaning yet the CPO warranty won't cover it.
I'll be just leaving the dealership this evening and nearly home when the right side decides to head south.
What bugs me is the dealer did the contol arm recall inspection < 400 miles ago and said " they are fine". Now, since they passed the recall inspection I have to pay my $50 CPO deductible to have them replaced.
The service advisor was kind of kissing my *** this morning when I dropped the car off.
I would check your contol arm - open the front door and jump up and down on the sill, the groaning you hear is the control arm.
