Default THANK YOU "hisport" and "Paulw" - Towing Update

Indeed your suggestion for inspecting the transmition was correct, in fact AoA confirmed it, and in a letter stated that your suggestion was on of true expertise. My local Audi dealer is now performing the inspection at a cost of $340.00, yet I shall take comfort in knowing the condition of the vehicle. And it is covered since this was a dealer error.
Thank you again!

Default What do you mean by a letter? One that you wrote or one that AoA wrote?

I'm curious. Did you contact them with the info posted here or did they write a letter stating that you are correct after you discussed it with them?

I had conteacted AoA with an excerpt of passages from "hisport" and yourself, and they responded to the email.

Ensure that you use the fleet managers name, or the dealer manager when writing your letter. And you should assert yourself in your letter. They did not respond to the first letter I wrote.

What does "assert yourself" mean? I'm ignorant sometimes!

Well, I would certainly through the weight of your own dedicated website to A8 owners, that should have "weight". And the kind gentle approach is not something they are familiar with, you must speak and write in Churchills vein.

Default Amen!- Paul, he's right. You ARE generating clout with what you've done...

... and I'm sure AoA reads these too...
