I've searched the web, other forums, etc. and nobody seems to have it. Not much talk about it either. Aside of the brazilian TT conversion info on this forum, does anybody has any info?

Well. There is some rumors of a guy in russia who adapted one to his car. Contacting him might be tough.

... we've talked about it as well as turbocharging. There is also a 4.2L V8 development forum. Check out your drop-down box. There is a 4.2L motor supercharger kit made by MTM in Germany. It's more designed for the V8 S4, but since it is the same engine it should bolt together with little difference.
Here are the ideas we've toyed with... cheaper, simpler(?) home-brew options.
1) Turbocharging, using parts from the RS6, which we share an engine with. The exhaust manifolds and turbos would bolt directly on. We'd have to hack with programming and plumbing. I think this is what our friends in Brazil did.
2) Supercharging with a kit that PaulW has the link for. It's a generic blower. This would require some additional brackets and a belt to drive it as well as some plumbing. You get the benefits of supercharging v. turbocharging (more evenly distributed power band) albeit lower total power. You can get away without having to worry about programming for the lower boost levels.

MTM has had a 420 HP version on their website for at least three years, but I don't know of anyone who pulled the trigger.

I like the how everything is 1 unit and in its own area of the engine.
S/C
Blow off valve
filter
and uses what looks like stock intake parts.

My car is so modified now that it really makes sense to develop one....cause I'm going to keep it for a while.....see my post below

Another crazy idea by Paul

the MTM page says something about Bi-Turbo; I don't see supercharger info. Also, I notice that their pages are in DEM, which no longer exists .. isn't Germany on the Euro?
Looking at the MTM "progressive" kit, they start out by sending you a reprogrammed ECU, and then each of the four later "stages" adds a new piece to your exhaust system until you reach the end, and have 340 BHP.
BTW freeing up 40 horses with a superior exhaust is not a fantasy. It's tried and true. I mention this because I've seen people in the past scoff at increased HP numbers via exhaust improvements.
Read any engine builder's magazine for a while and you'll see a hundred exhaust articles with real dyno numbers to back up the results. Your improvement is based on the crappiness of the original exhaust vs the eliteness of the new exhaust.

Coming from a 94 300zx TT w/400 plus HP you may understand that the super comfy A8L might feel a bit slow.....Besides...when does more HP hurts?
