Things to look out for when buying an S8...........

Hey guys, My father-in-law is thinking about purchasing an S8. We are going to take a look at it tomorrow. I am a long time Audi fan, but don't know too much about the S8. Are the control arms as ****ty as the A4 arms?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Only the earliest A8 examples (as the original A4) *might* have control arm issues...

Update...Thanks for your advice! Drove the beast today......WOW!!! It is an '01. In great shape

as well. Bringing it home tomorrow for the father-in-law to drive his future baby. The S8 is a luxurious monster. The engine sounds amazing. In fact when I got home I played several scenes from Ronin just to compare the engine sound!!! What a blast I had today! Tomorrow she goes on the highway
