Thinking of trading S8 for S55, am I crazy?

I know people here will bash the build quality...which is why I love Audis....BUT
HP is HP and no matter if its a boat or not....its made for overtaking at high speeds! Mercs have a lot of creature comforts, loads of power, the same problems as all other German cars, and a poor enthusiast following unlike Audis, but if power is what you want, then a S55 or E55 would be sweet. If you want nimble, semi fast, nice build quality German luxury sports saloon, then S8 you stay. Either way, you are far better off than a Monaro...(cough) I mean GTO!

What's your S8 situation -- mileage; year; acct balance; warranty; etc?
It really depends on the answers to the above. If HP is your thing, then I guess it's immaterial and getting an S55 won't be a bad choice anyway.
