Default Thoughts on this wheel design.

Folks,
Okay so after the normal six week wait for some nice iForged wheels they finally arrive Very nice don't ya think?
BUT
...uhmm how would I get air into them?
"They" say this is normal and will NOT take them back.
Am I crazy out of my mind for thinking otherwise?

Do you mean there is no hole for the valve stem?

No. They put the hole 3" BEHIND the spokes:/

Default That's BS

So you can't even get your fingers in there to get the valve cap off (took me a while to figure it out) and this is normal????

Take the ".t" out of the file names and it will be a large size picture.

Updated. Thanks. They should have put the hole directly behind the spokes.

Default Ummmm....I was thinking directly IN FRONT of the spokes

Can they drill another hole and put in another stem? Or is the lip too short?

Did they mention that this was a design feature of the rims....i.e. that you needed one of those extenders like 18 wheelers have on the inside wheel?

That is amazing. Nobody will ever bother stealing any of your wheel stems. Not even gold ones.

Default Not enough room there....and

now that I think about it, even directly behind the spokes may interfere with calipers.
In the Air Force we called this FUBR and I'm afraid that's where we're at.
Even more odd than the design is their refusal to remedy this in any way... oh they did offer shorter valve stems. Nice!
And no they never mentioned this.

Default And I thought I got taken on my FIKSE wheels, hopefully you'll resolve this

And if you paid with a credit card, now would be the time to put a stop payment on the wheels.

How could you use them at a track? You couldn't even check air pressures?

Default You say these wheels make your car handle like it's on rails!

Obviously these wheels are designed to be tireless. :-) Whoo whoo!
