Default Timing Chain?

i was ordering the parts for the TB, and i noticed they had timing belts and a timing chain in the catalgue for our cars...

is it an error of some sort?

Default The timing belt drives one cam (I think the exhaust) in each cylinder bank, while

a chain drives the second cam from the first.

So there's one timing belt, and two, small, timing chains.

Never heard of anyone having a problem with the chains.

Default

They do stretch tho, and need to be replaced just like a belt!! No difference in the long run.

Default True, but it gives you an audible warning of wear. My Nissans both made that noise, and I left it

go until it got loud, then replaced them. I think it was the tensioner that went on the 240sx.
