Default Tiptronic 2nd gear "pause" revisited
ok on the turnpike on the way home yesterday..
1. Slow down for the toll booth
2. drop it into 2 at about 30mph
3. EZpass is great (NJ speedlimit 15mph)
4. floor it out of the gate and the car hesitates like its trying to shift from 2.5k, however this time the i had to let off the gas inorder for the car to "reset itself" then it got up and go.

it was like ti got stuck at 3k and didnt wanna go anymore

No, i coasted through the booth. Used engine to slow the car

Both my A4 and my VW passat also do that. It happens at about 2800 rpm

Try coasting the brake and easing on the gas at the same time. Car get's soo confused!
